Who it’s for

The weather does not care what your job is.

In Any Weather was built watching leaders of large public systems make worse calls than they were capable of, because the conditions had shifted. It works just as well for a parent at a kitchen table or a fourteen-year-old who is good at hiding what pressure does to them. The arenas are the same. The patterns are the same. Only the examples change.

Leaders and teams

Executives, agency heads, superintendents, principals, foundation officers, nonprofit directors, and the teams they run. People whose judgment under load affects a lot of other people, and who are usually the last to notice when it slips.

    What we work on

An office late in the day, nearly empty.

    Families

Parents of a child who is struggling to learn, especially to read. You are managing the school, the tutor, the homework, your partner’s view, your own fear, and a kid who has started to believe something about themselves that isn’t true.

      What we work on

A parent and children walking a forest path, the children ahead.

      Young people

Teenagers and older kids who are already good at looking fine. The arenas hit them hard, especially Scale, Visibility, and Opposition, and they rarely have language for any of it beyond “stressed.”

        What we work on

A young person alone on a trail, looking at what’s ahead.
